I've been away for a few days in the very different world of southern California. Flew into Orange County Airport, and drove to Anaheim for a fabulous show of all things musical. The NAMM show has been a dream of Robert's for a long long time, and it was everything he ever thought it could be, and more. Our first day there, Robert went to the show, and I drove into LA to see the Getty Museum. Aaaaah, The beautiful Getty Museum, and two photographers, who I admire greatly, were on exhibit. Graciela Iturbide, and Andre' Kerte'sz. I was inspired, and humbled by the works of these incredible artists. So, just a few of the photos from our journey. The Getty, and a humble little doughnut shack in Huntington Beach...

black + white

I just finished editing this photograph in b/w. These portraits of my daughter, julia, were taken at an old abandoned villa on a river. The light was perfect, and the scene added to the moody feel of the photographs. Old buildings, and urban settings are my favorites for environmental photos. Hope everyone is staying warm and dry. It's cocoa weather! mmmmmmmm cocoa...

rainy day in California
We are getting blown away here. Power has been out all day, and the Ocean waves are higher than I've ever seen them. I am running on low battery, so I will wish everyone a safe, and happy weekend.
